Pine Village announced exciting news today. It recently received zero deficiencies (perfect score) on its annual survey from the Kansas Department of Aging for its Assisted Living Cottages.

The state survey is an annual inspection performed at random to show how well an assisted living community is meeting state regulations. Survey results are available to the public at any long-term care community.

“The annual survey substantiates that we are achieving quality of care for our residents, which is one of our top priorities,” said Jim Huxman, Administrator. “Not only does the survey attest to the care, but our Assisted Living consistently remains full.”

Pine Village’s Assisted Living wing contains 12 new suites that were constructed in 2009 which include a bedroom, full bath and living space/kitchenette, plus there are seven double rooms that include a bedroom, living space and half bath in the original wing.
