CANTON — Canton-Galva captured seventh place in its own tournament Friday with an 80-50 rout of St. John's Military.
The Eagles once again made nine 3-pointers, led by All-Tourney pick Connor Farnham with five. He scored 21 points, 11 of those in the third quarter. C-G led only 35-32 at the half, then outscored the Muleskinners 23-4 in the third quarter.
Tanner Klingensmith had a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Travis Unruh and A.J. Medley scored 14 and 13 points, respectively.
C-G coach Shane Duncan said his team picked up the intensity in the second half after a sluggish first half. Because of injuries, the Eagles had only seven healthy bodies.
Unruh added six assists as he played a fine floor game.
