CCC cagers lose in Oklahoma

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Central Christian College’s basketball teams were swept Saturday by Oklahoma Wesleyan in an MCAC twinbill.

The Lady Tigers lost 96-67 and the men were outlasted by an 83-74 score.

No other information was available on the women’s game.

The Tiger men had five players in double figures, with Aaron Miller leading the way with 16 points, one more than Kris Quant, who made five treys. Michael Gholston added 13 points, Dustin Rojas furnished 12 and Kendric Warren tallied 10. The Tigers were down 45-29 at half.

The CCC women are 0-5 in the MCAC and 8-14 overall. The CCC men are 1-4 in the conference and 15-6 overall.

The CCC teams have another brutal road trip next weekend, playing Friday at College of the Ozarks and Saturday at Central Baptist.
