POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — It was a night to forget Friday for the Central Christian College basketball teams.

Both CCC teams were whipsawed by College of the Ozarks, the women 110-35 and the men 83-58.

The Ozarks women made 10 of 20 treys and 41 of 76 shots overall, while CCC was just 13 of 55 for the game. Harley Pate led CCC, now 0-6 in the MCAC and 8-15 overall, with nine points.

The Tiger men struggled early, down 43-27 at the half, and while they did play better in the second half, the bad start doomed them. Aaron Miller’s 14 points led CCC, while Michael Gholston and Nathan Fort both came off the bench for 13 and 12 points respectively.

The Tigers are now 1-5 in the MCAC and 15-7 overall. Both CCC teams are scheduled to play today at Central Baptist of Conway, Ark.
