3 Bulldogs earn KCAC honors

 Zach Wilson of the McPherson College baseball team, and Arial McGee and Ciarra Archer of the softball squad have been named to the 2014 All-KCAC Preseason teams.

All returning 2013 All-KCAC first-team and second-team performers were nominated for preseason honors. Head baseball and softball coaches also had the opportunity to nominate other key members from their teams.

The top returner for Bulldog baseball, Wilson brings back 55 hits in his 158 at bats. The senior led the 2013 'Dogs in runs with 43 and was second on the team in slugging percentage at .551. He drove in 37 runs en route to his .348 batting average.

McGee was a 2013 All-KCAC first-team selection, tied for the league lead in batting average, .451, and led in slugging percentage .725, as well as runs scored per game, 1.25. Last season. McGee was second in hits per game. 1.46, total bases per game, 2.36, stolen bases per Game, 0.75, and on-base percentage, .519.

One of just two freshmen to make the team, Archer came to the Bulldog family from Denver, where she played for ThunderRidge High School.
