Oklahoma Wesleyan’s basketball teams spoiled Senior Day here Saturday for Central Christian College.
The Tiger men, coming off a superb game on Friday against Haskell, had nothing in the tank for the Eagles, who flew away and hid for a 92-67 victory.
The loss dropped CCC to 3-9 in MCAC play with one week left, but it’s 17-11 overall.
The Tigers were down only 41-36 at the half before Wesleyan caught fire in the second half to outscore CCC by 20.
“There was no urgency tonight, we got outworked and they were way more physical than us,” said a disappointed CCC coach Tony Romero, whose team is now 17-11 overall. “We did a poor job executing our game plan. We got beat off the dribble too often, which allowed their shooters to get going."
Aaron Miller led the Tigers with 18 points and Michael Gholston chipped in with 13 as they have been the only steady scorers in recent games.
Tyler Woods scored 24 for the Eagles and Devin Harris added 21.
The Tigers play Friday at Waldorf.

Kadetra O’Brine was the lone bright spot with 10 points off the bench.
“We got off to a slow start against a very good team and just couldn't get anything going to get back in the game,” CCC coach Chris Honeck said. “The kids did keep fighting to the end, and were able to close the gap a little bit."
A whopping 14 players scored for OW, led by Kayla Morgan with 26, which included a six-pack of 3-pointers.
