MHS' Eldredge wins 106 title at Remington

REMINGTON — McPherson High’s wrestling team made its final tuneup before next week’s regional by placing eight members Saturday at the Remington Invitational.

Austin Eldredge led the way by winning the 106-pound class, going 3-0. 

Cole Kretzer was second at 113, while thirds were recorded by Andrew Trowbridge at 106, Shaden Swaim at 113, TK Mukwindidza at 132, Addie Lanning at 145 and Michael McKinney at 285.

Ty Goss also was at 285, taking fourth.

MHS scored 97 1/2 points to take fourth in the 11-team field, which was headed by Augusta with 287. 

MHS competes in regional action this upcoming weekend at Colby.
