Central Christian College’s basketball teams wrap up regular-season play this weekend with a pair of long road trips.

Both CCC teams play Friday at Waldorf College in Forest, Iowa. Then Saturday, the women break off to play College of St. Mary in Omaha, Neb., while the men also are in the Husker State to play Bellevue.

The CCC men are 3-9 in the MCAC, 17-11 overall. The women are still looking for their first MCAC win and are 8-20 overall.

The Central men could very well have a say in who wins the MCAC title. Bellevue and Oklahoma Wesleyan are both 10-2, while Waldorf is 9-3. College of the Ozarks is in the driver’s seat for the No. 4 playoff spot with a 7-5 record, two games on York. CCC is in sixth, with Haskell and Central Baptist both 2-10.

The Tigers’ season may not be over after Saturday as there’s a possibility they could be involved in NSCAA action as they have dual membership.

The CCC women will be taking on a Waldorf team that is 4-8 in the MCAC, while College of St. Mary is 11-1 and leading the conference, a game up on Oklahoma Wesleyan and two games up on College of the Ozarks. York and Haskell are tied for the fourth spot at 6-6.

The Lady Tigers will be done after Saturday.
