Swede star competes in All-Star game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Bethany College’s second-team All-American Idris IbnIdris scored seven points, grabbed a couple of rebounds and dished for two assists Saturday in the NAIA All-Star Game at Municipal Auditorium.

Friends University’s Joe Mitchell, the KCAC and National Player of the Year, showed why as he scored 34 points, going 13 of 17 from the field in a 120-107 loss for the Division II team against Division I.
