MIAA Hall of Fame selects Hill for induction

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Galva native Brad Hill has been chosen for induction into the MIAA Hall of Fame for 2014.

Hill, currently the head baseball coach at Kansas State, coached at MIAA school Central Missouri State from 1995-2003, his final year resulting in a national championship.

He won 418 games and lost only 91 in his nine seasons. The Mules were national runner-up in 2001, won the league title in all nine of his years and the conference tournament in eight of his nine years.

In MIAA play, the Mules were 202-17 and also won seven regional championships.

Hill is a 1980 graduate of Canton-Galva High School.
