OTTAWA — McPherson High graduate Aaron Marshall, a sophomore at Ottawa University, had a huge weekend against his hometown team.

The result was Marshall being named the KCAC Baseball Player of the Week.

In four games against the Bulldogs, Marshall went 9 for 15 as Ottawa split the four-game series with Mac.

In the Braves' come-from-behind victory on Saturday, Marshall drilled his sixth home run of the season with a two-run blast over the right field fence for a 4-3 walk-off win.

Marshall ended the weekend with a slugging percentage of 1.200, .600 batting average and a .625 on-base percentage.

He smashed three home runs, scored six runs, had eight RBIs, stole three bases in as many attempts and drew a walk.
