SEDGWICK — Sedgwick dealt Moundridge a pair of baseball setbacks on Tuesday behind some strong pitching.
The first game went the Cardinals’ way, 8-2. The Wildcats were held to three hits, one each by Hunter Enyart, Nick Leddy and Trenton Olson, who had the only RBI.
Leddy took the loss.
Sedgwick scored in five straight innings, including three runs in the sixth.
The second game went five innings, with Sedgwick rolling to a 12-1 triumph, sparked by a six-run second inning.
MHS collected just four hits, two of them by Anthony Otte. Enyart drove in Garrett Higgins with the only run.
Kyle Stucky took the loss.
The Wildcats host Marion on Friday.
