HALSTEAD — Inman’s Justin Friesen captured a pair of gold medals Tuesday in a track and field meet hosted by Sedgwick but contested at Halstead.
Friesen won the 110 hurdles (16.7) and 300 hurdles (44.2). Barkley Williams also won the high jump for the Teutons (5-10), and Inman won the 4 x 100 relay.
The Teutons also received a second from Ben Pankratz in the 3,200 (12:33) and a runner-up from Hank Thiessen in the shot put (37-11 3/4). The 4 x 400 relay took second as well.
Tyler Cottam added a pair of thirds in the long (18-5) and triple (39-3) jumps.
The Teuton girls did not have any firsts, but Emma Aberg was second in the 100 in 12.8.
The 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relay teams were second as well.
Inman also had four individual thirds — Krystal Miller in the 200 (27.9), Kristin Miller in the 1,600 (6:37.8), Maggie Shuler in the 100 hurdles (19.4) and Nicole Neufeldt in the long jump (14-1 1/2).
