Baseball Vikes lose pair to Pratt

PRATT — Smoky Valley’s baseball bats were relatively silent Friday in a pair of losses to powerful Pratt.

Pratt scored in four of five innings to take the shortened first game, 10-0. Christian Hansen and Andrew McClure had the Viking hits. Josh Allbright took the loss.

Pratt also scored in four of five innings of the nightcap for a 16-2 win, with five runs in the third and six in the fourth.

The Vikes had three hits, singles by Tim Ruble, Kirk Barnes and Blake Mitchell. Dylan Goodell took the loss.

Smoky Valley, now 1-5, plays host to Hillsboro on Tuesday.
