BROOKVILLE — Tevin Renken was one hitter from yet another no-hitter for the Little River baseball team.
Renken threw a one-hitter Tuesday in the Redskins’ 10-0 rout of Ell-Saline. He walked two and struck out 10 in the overwhelming performance.
Levi Baldwin drove in four runs with two doubles. Renken and Jeb Sauer also collected two hits and Cordell Moore hit a two-run homer. Little River clinched the game after five innings after scoring five runs in the fifth.
Moore picked up the win in a 7-3 nightcap triumph, with only one of the runs he allowed being earned. Little River had three straight innings where it scored two runs to key the win.
Moore helped himself at the plate with a pair of RBIs and Renken also drove in two runs. Kyler Cox’s double was the only extra-base hit and he also scored three runs.
