Baseball Teutons lose pair to Cardinals

SEDGWICK — After winning two games on Tuesday, the Inman baseball team was swept on Thursday by Sedgwick.

The Cardinals were dominant in coasting to 13-1 and 14-0 victories.

The Teutons were held to four singles in the opener, scoring their only run in the second inning. Sedgwick had innings of five and six runs to blow the game open.

The Cardinals scored five runs in the first inning and eight in the second of the nightcap. The game was ended after five innings, during which time the Teutons did not have a hit.
