Central Christian College’s softball team played single games against two opponents here Friday.

The Lady Tigers were blanked by KCAC member Friends 5-0 in the first game. CCC did pick up six hits, all singles by six different players. Friends chipped away by scoring runs in four separate innings. Kristen Hall took the loss.

Central then lost 8-2 to Langston University. The Oklahomans scored four runs in the first inning to set the tone.

Hall had a nice game in defeat by going 3 for 3 with two runs scored, with one of her hits a double.

Hall again was the pitcher of record. Cristina Insua pitched in relief in both games.

CCC, 14-36, completes the regular season today hosting KCAC member Saint Mary. It’s Senior Day, with first pitch set for 1 p.m.
