Crowe signs cage letter with Swedes

CLEBURNE, Texas –  Tyler Crowe, of Cleburne, Texas, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Bethany College for the 2014-2015 academic year. 

Crowe come to Bethany College from Rio Vista High School where he also played tennis and competed in track for four years. He played football for three years and baseball for a year. In track, Crowe was an area qualifier in the 800 meter run. He was voted as the District and County Offensive MVP in basketball.

"We are pleased to have Tyler Crowe choose to attend Bethany College and become a part of Bethany Basketball," Swede coach Clair Oleen said. "Tyler is a super young man and great teammate who is a long guard who has a lot of  ‘upside'. We are excited about the opportunity to work with him to help him continue to grow and develop as a basketball player."

Crowe is the son of Chris and Diane Crowe. He has a 3.6 grade point average and anticipates majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy.
