LINDSBORG — Josh Fiscus, of Peetz, Colo., has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Clair Oleen and the Bethany College Swedes for the 2014-15 academic year.

In addition to being a four-year starter for Peetz High, he also played baseball three years, ran on the track team for two years and played football for a year.

As a senior, the 5-9 guard averaged 20 points per game, two rebounds, five assists and five steals per game. Fiscus was selected to play in the "The Show All-Star Game" and the Colorado All-State Game. He was the team MVP for four years and was selected All-Conference three years. Fiscus also was named honorable mention All-State for three years and one year he was selected first-team All-State.

"We are pleased to have Josh Fiscus choose to attend Bethany College and be a part of Bethany basketball," Oleen said. "Josh has had a very distinguished high school basketball career in Colorado 1A, as is evident by his selection to both state-wide All-Star games "The Show" and the Colorado All-State Game."

Fiscus is the son of Bill and Dawn Fiscus, and he plans to major in business at Bethany.
