LITTLE RIVER — The Moundridge Wildcats became the latest victim of the Little River baseball team.
The sizzling Redskins rolled to 17-2 and 14-5 victories on Friday.
The Redskins actually collected only seven hits in winning the first game, keyed by a 10-run fourth inning.
Dalton Arnold had two hits for the Redskins, whose Levi Baldwin worked admirably on the mound to pick up the win, whiffing eight in four innings.
Trenton Olson and Nick Leddy drove in runs for the Wildcats. Hunter Enyart took the loss.
Moundridge led the second game 2-0 early, but Little River scored five in the second and seven in the third to seize control. Big hitters for the Redskins were Cordell Moore (three hits, four RBIs), Zack Konen (three runs, two hits, two RBIs), Tevin Renken (two hits, three RBIs) and Baldwin (two hits).
Grant Harvey as the winner and Dylan Sugars took the loss.
Higgins and Kyle Huxman had two hits apiece. Higgins scored two runs and Huxman drove in two.
