OTTAWA — McPherson High graduate Aaron Marshall was named to the All-KCAC baseball first team last week.

Marshall’s numbers made his selection a no-brainer at first base.

He started 48 games this season, collecting 62 hits in just 151 at-bats for a .411 average. He showed a lot of pop at the plate with 10 homers, eight doubles, four triples, 42 RBIs and had a .715 slugging percentage, not to mention 108 total bases.

Probably his most surprising stat was that he stole 26 bases in 28 attempts. He ranked in the KCAC Top 10 in nearly all of the offensive categories.
