LINDSBORG — Smoky Valley senior Taylor Tiani has signed a track and field letter of intent with Bethany College for the 2014-15 academic year.
Tiani has competed in both volleyball and track. She is a three-year letterwinner, named Most Improved Athlete, Most Inspirational Athlete and team captain. She also earned the Vice Presidential Award.
In the 400, Tiani has a best time of 1:00.02.
"We are very excited to welcome Taylor to the track and field family," Bethany coach Ken Ciolek said. "Taylor will add immediate depth to our relays, and will make a big impact in the 400. Her strong work ethic and commitment to success will fit in extremely well with our track and field program."
Tiani is the daughter of Dan and Kim Tiani. She plans to major in pre-physical therapy.
