LINDSBORG — Bethany College men’s basketball coach Clair Oleen continues to fire off basketball signings in rapid succession.
Minneapolis’ Brandon Davis is the last high school senior to announce his intentions of continuing his career for Oleen and the Swedes.
Davis is a well-rounded athlete, having competed in football, basketball, cross country and track in addition to basketball. The 6-0 guard averaged 8.5 points as a senior.
Davis was on the honor roll, the high honor roll and received an Excellence in Learning award. He also was named the Most Improved Player.
"We are pleased to have Brandon Davis choose to attend Bethany College,” Oleen said. “Brandon comes to Bethany from one of the most well-respected basketball programs in Kansas under the leadership of coach Erik Shupe.”
Oleen added that an advantage for Davis is that he’ll arrive at Bethany well-versed in the triangle offense, which is the Swedes’ bread and better.
Davis, the son of Alton and Janice Davis, plans to major in biology.
