MOBILE, Al.  — Auburn-Montgomery ended the magical run of the Bethany College men’s tennis team with a 5-2 victory Thursday in the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Tournament.

The Swedes led 2-1 early, but it was all Auburn-Montgomery after that as it ruled the singles matches.

Bethany’s wins came from doubles teams Edgardo Tapia-Manuel Raga and Mensford Owusu0-Aaron Moses.

The Swedes, who entered the match ranked No. 7 in the country, finished the season with an overall record of 21-3.
