Curious about McPherson’s new curbside recycling?  Join us at the library on at noon on June 5th to have your question answered.  James Cook, from the McPherson Area Solid Waste Utility, will be here to tell us about the new blue bins seen everywhere about town and the single-stream recycling program.

“Since the summer reading theme this year is centered on science, it gives us a great opportunity for the library to highlight and share information about our community’s new venture in curbside recycling”, said Jennie Hall, Head of Adult Services. “This is a chance to bring your questions about recycling and have them answered by an expert!”

Light lunch refreshments will be served.  The event is free and all ages are welcome to attend.  RSVP is preferred, but not required.  Call the library at 245-2570 or email them at [email protected] for more information about this informative 45 minute program.
