Burlingame High School All-Stater Parker Lee has signed a basketball letter of intent with McPherson College.
The 6-0 point guard was a four-year letterwinner for the Bearcats, coached by Creighton Winters.
Lee scored 17 points a game, grabbed 4.5 rebounds and dished off for 2.7 assists. He was a first-team Class 2A selection by The Topeka Capital-Journal and twice was named to the Lyon County League’s first team.
"Parker is an outstanding point guard," McPherson College coach Tim Swartzendruber said. "We are thrilled he has chosen McPherson to continue his academic and basketball career. He has the ability to make people around him better and he is a winner. Parker is an outstanding student and is of high character. I couldn't be more pleased with his decision."
He is a member of the National Honor Society. His parents are Darin and Kandi Lee.
Lee will be majoring in biology.
