Teutons, Wildcats combine for five first-team Heart baseball picks

Inman placed three members on the Heart of America League baseball first team, while Moundridge had two as selections were announced this week.

Teuton pitcher Treyton DeVore, third baseman Jon Landeros and designated hitter Taylor Almquist received top honors, along with Moundridge outfielder Kyle Huxman and Wildcat utility player Garrett Higgins.

Canton-Galva had three players picked to the second team — catcher Tanner Klingensmith, outfielder Ethan Loyd and designated hitter Connor Farnham. Two Inman players, second baseman Blayne Konrade and outfielder Wyatt Regehr, also made the second team along with Moundridge first baseman Trenton Olson.

Inman pitcher Noah Tuscan, Canton-Galva first baseman Nick Bray and Moundridge outfielder Hunter Enyart were tabbed honorable mention.
