OTTAWA — Aaron Marshall’s amazing baseball season for the Ottawa Braves earned him honorable mention All-American honors, which were announced this week by the NAIA.

The McPherson High graduate, who was the KCAC’s first-team first baseman, batted .411 with 10 homers, 42 RBIs, eight doubles and four triples.

He also stole a whopping 26 bases and was caught only two times, which is unprecedented for a first baseman.

Marshall will be a junior next season.
