The Bethany College Department of Athletics partnered with their website-hosting company, SIDHelp, to launch the newly revised athletics website on Dec. 18, 2013. The new website features a more integrated look, and also allows for increased functionality and usage.
The new features include: video capability, live Twitter feed, statistics integrated into rosters and game recaps, and scrolling advertisements and features. Swedes Sponsors rotate on the main page below a scrolling section of featured Bethany Athletics components.
In addition, a graphic schedule of upcoming events allows two-click access to the Swedes in action.
The site also showcases a new Swedes in Service section, highlighting the involvement and engagement of our student-athletes in the community.
In addition to the newly revised website, the Department of Athletics also released free mobile apps for Android and iOS on January 27, 2014.
Bethany Athletics worked with SIDHelp to create the app. The app allows users to access scores, updates, social media, schedules, rosters, team and coaches information, and game day links such as live stats, live audio, and live video. Prospective student-athletes can also fill out recruiting questionnaires on the app.
The Bethany College Athletics app is free of charge and can be accessed by visiting the Android App Store here and at the Apple App Store here on mobile Android and iOS devices and tablets.
