Salina Area Legislators endorse Clark Shultz for Insurance Commissioner

All Saline County legislators have enthusiastically endorsed Senator Clark Shultz for Kansas Insurance Commissioner. Shultz was been the House Insurance Committee chair for 9 years and is also a title insurance agent. He is currently Senator for the 35th District. Senator Tom Arpke, Representative J.R. Claeys, Representative Diana Dierks, Representative Steven Johnson all endorse Shultz.

Senator Arpke said,"Senator Shultz has been a vital part of the Kansas legislature. His colleagues on both sides of the aisle have a great deal of respect for him and he has a reputation for being fair and sensible. These are exactly the qualities Kansas needs in the office of the Insurance Commissioner to prevent Kansans from being further hurt Obamacare."

Representative J.R. Claeys said, "While others talk about fighting Obamacare, Senator Shultz has been working on real solutions to minimize the impact of that terrible law on Kansans. Senator Shultz knows the laws in Kansas because he’s been writing them for decades as our insurance watchdog in the House.”

Representative Dierks said, "Senator Shultz has invaluable experiences as an insurance compliance auditor, title insurance agent and Chairman of the House Insurance Committee. These qualifications are exactly what Kansas needs in an Insurance Commissioner."
