LINDSBORG — The women’s basketball signings continue for Bethany college coach Brett Morehouse.
The latest to sign with the Swedes is Cherokee Rohrbaugh, who hails from Erie, Colo.
Rohrbaugh lettered four years in basketball and was also a two-year letterwinner in cross country and track. She played at Broomfield High School.
She also made state two years in cross country and was Academic All-State. She averaged 3.4 points per game, 1.1 rebounds per game, a steal and an assist over her high school career.
"Cherokee is going to be a great fit for Bethany College and our women's basketball program,” Morehouse said. “She is a highly motivated and hard-working student athlete, as evidence by her 4.0 GPA and her four years of lettering for one of the best basketball programs in the state of Colorado. Cherokee was the top defensive stopper and ‘glue girl’ for Broomfield. While those characteristics will also benefit her at the college level, we believe she has a ton of untapped potential as an offensive threat and we look forward to helping her develop over the next four years."
She is the daughter of Dee and Amanda Rohrbaugh. She has a 4.0 grade point average and plans to major in biology .
