LINDSBORG — Emporia High School graduate Austin Gordon has put pen to paper and signed a baseball letter of intent with the Bethany College Swedes.
Gordon was a three-year baseball starter and also excelled on the gridiron as he started for the Spartans for two years.
"We are very excited to welcome Austin to Swede Nation," Bethany coach Andrew Bartman said. "He is a very projectable athlete who we expect to physically blossom in our system over the next four years. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for Austin in our program."
He is the son of Scott and Rhonda Gordon. He has a 3.5 grade point average and plans to major in business.
