Jeffrey Paul Davis of Heseria California was sentenced yesterday for the accident that involved McPherson teacher and Lindsborg resident Mija Stockman and Pamela Pjesky of rural McPherson last December.

Davis was given a 34-month prison sentence in the DUI case. Davis plead no contest to aggravated battery while driving under the influence in May, and will receive six months for time already served, plus he could get a 5 month early release for good behavior, making his total time in prison less than 2 years.

Stockman’s injuries left her in a coma, but is continuing rehab and recovery in a facility in Gardner Kansas.
