LINDSBORG — Jurnee Gregg isn’t going anywhere.
The softball diamond that she has called home for the past four years has been re-upped for another four.
The former Smoky Valley High School standout recently signed a letter of intent with Bethany College.
Gregg played first base for coach Chris McClure’s Vikings. She also played volleyball under coach Doug Schneider.
She earned second-team All-Central Kansas League honors her senior year, clubbing the ball at a .370 clip, with a .432 on-base percentage. She also drove in 11 runs and finished her career ranked third in all-time Viking fielding (.980), third in single-season fielding (.992) and 10th in single-season putouts (124).
“We are excited to add Jurnee Gregg to our softball family," Bethany coach Janice Esses. said. "She is an athletic first baseman with some pop in her bat. Jurnee has a lot of potential as a student-athlete, so we are excited to see how she develops through our program."
Gregg is the daughter of Jill and Chris Gregg of Marquette. She plans to study accounting.
