Cleaning products made of natural ingredients are gaining in popularity.  You’ve seen them on Pinterest and blog sites, and now the McPherson Public Library is giving you a chance to try making some yourself.  Stop by the library between 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, July 24th and learn how to create a few cleaning solutions from simple ingredients. You will leave with a several environmentally friendly cleaning products and easy instructions for making them at home.

“The laundry detergent and stain remover cost just a fraction of what I pay to buy them ready-made at the store”, says library assistant, Ann Anderson. “They work great and it’s a way for me to help keep the earth green.”

The event is free and open to all ages.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  RSVP to the McPherson library by July 21st.   Call 245-2570 or email the library at [email protected] for more information about this event and others in the library’s “Spark a Reaction” adult summer reading program.
