LINDSBORG — Bethany College continued its expansive soccer recruiting with the recent signing of Gerdson Lubin of Port au Prince, Haiti.

Lubin is transferring to Bethany after starring at fellow KCAC school Saint Mary, where he earned second-team KCAC honors. He was the Spires’ leading scorer last year with 10 goals.

"We are very excited to welcome Gerdson to our team," Bethany coach Shane Taylor said. "He is a proven student-athlete and will add experience, potency and depth to our squad. His skill, work ethic and power are what set him apart and we cannot wait to see those things on our field day in and day out."

He is the son of Genel Lubin and is undecided on a major.
