A Moundridge woman was arrested in Salina on Saturday on charges of aggravated battery for allegedly backing into a Salina store's loss prevention officer who was taking photos of her car.

According to an article in Tuesday's Salina Journal, 19 year old Katie Schrag and a 17 year old girl are alleged to have shoplifted eleven items of clothing from Salina's Kohl's store at 2580 South Ninth.

Loss prevention officer Cammie McIver confronted the pair in the store and they ran to Schrag's car. McIver followed them and was taking photos of the car when it backed up and her right leg was struck by the left fender well of the vehicle, according to Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney. McIver did not require medical treatment.

Sweeney said McPherson police officers located the vehicle in the 1900 block of Kansas in McPherson. He said the clothing from Kohl's was recovered, as well as four clothing items from JC Penney.

Salina Police are also recommending charges of felony theft and contributing to a child's misconduct against Schrag.
