This is one of those game films that probably will go right into the trash without being viewed.
McPherson College men’s soccer coach Doug Quint would just as soon his team put Monday’s 7-0 loss to University of Texas-Brownsville as far behind it as it can.
“We were extremely poor today against a very good team," Quint said. "That made it for a long 90 minutes."
The Ocelots, improving to 4-0, peppered the Bulldog goal repeatedly and broke through four times in the first half. They continued their onslaught with three second-half goals.
Mac had no answer for the dynamic duo of Carlos Acevedo (four goals) and Ricardo Diegues (three goals).
The Bulldogs actually did get off 13 shots, but simply were overwhelmed by the skilled Ocelots.
Mac is now 0-2. It doesn’t get any easier Saturday when nationally ranked Midland University comes to town for a 3 p.m. clash.
