LINDSBORG – Bethany College’s volleyball team is still searching for its first conference win after losing in straight sets Wednesday to Ottawa.

It was all Lady Braves, 25-22, 25-10, 25-22. Bethany is now 0-2 in the KCAC and 2-5 overall, while OU is 2-1 and 5-4, respectively.

Natasha Allmer and Bryanna Cool recorded six kills apiece for Bethany. Cool also had four digs. Alexa Gerber followed that with five kills, 10 digs and three aces. Defensively, last week's Libero of the Week Ariel Buhr had a match-high 15 digs.  She was aided by freshman Mikaela Harman, who had 12 digs.

Bethany will look to bounce back this weekend in a Friday and Saturday tournament in Omaha, Neb. The Swedes will play Mayville State University, Grace University, Harris-Stowe State College and the College of Saint Mary out of Omaha.
