The McPherson City Commission accepted the bid from Prairie Landworks for the Oxford Pointe/Certainteed drainage project as part of the Public Works report at Monday's City Commission meeting.

According to that report, McPherson City Public Works Director Jeff Woodward recommended that Prairie Landworks bid, which was the lowest when including proposed add ons to the project, be accepted for $963,973.

There is a public meeting for those affected by the project scheduled for Tuesday night in the City Commission room. Prairie Landworks will address concerns and give those in the area an idea how the project will work. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
