McPherson County Republicans to meet October 2

The McPherson County Republican Central Committee will meet Thursday night, October 2nd, 2014 in the back room at the Well at 101 South Main Street in McPherson for a reorganization meeting.

The purpose of the meeting is to elect county party officers, county delegates and alternate delegates to the District Committee.

Any registered Republican McPherson County resident can be elected to these positions, but only McPherson County precinct committeemen and committeewomen elected in August can vote.

If you are an elected precinct committeeperson or interested in being elected to a Mac County GOP office or as a delegate, then plan on attending the October 2nd meeting.  A slate of candidates will be developed at the meeting.   

The current officers do plan to run for reelection. Current officers are Chairman Dave Bohnenblust, Vice Chairman Marge Arnold, Secretary Kristin Boyer and Treasurer Bev Hunter.

Credentialing will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Please be sure to bring a driver's license or other photo ID to allow for an accurate and orderly check-in procedure.

After the reorganization meeting, the Republicans will discuss some plans to get out the vote for the upcoming November election. There will be info, signs, flyers and sign up info for the Republican candidates.
