HILLSBORO — McPherson College’s volleyball team just can’t seem to get over the hump against Tabor.
Down through the years, the Bluejays have been a thorn in Bulldogs’ side. Wednesday, though, it appeared they might end the hex after winning two of the first three sets of the KCAC match.
But Tabor came back for 25-14 and 15-11 wins in the final two sets to claim the match. Mac had lost the opening set 25-19, but came back for 25-23 and 26-24 successes.
No game stats were available from Tabor. The loss dropped the Bulldogs to 1-2 in the KCAC, 6-5 overall.
Mac goes to Salina on Saturday to play a KCAC match against Kansas Wesleyan and also play Bellevue of Nebraska as part of a triangular.
