Bethany College is offering Salina Area Technical College graduates and faculty an opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with its 100 percent online degree completion program. Students, who have earned an Associates of Applied Science degree, will be able to easily transfer into the interdisciplinary studies program with full credit given for their AAS degree allowing them to quickly earn their bachelor’s degree.

The Articulation Agreement signing ceremony for Bethany College and Salina Area Technical College was held at the Bethany campus on Thursday, September 18, 2014. Dr. Edward F. Leonard III, president of Bethany College, and Greg Goode, president of Salina Tech, signed the agreement.

The interdisciplinary studies program provides students with a cross-disciplined approach to understanding the communities in which they live, work, and provide service. The program builds from the student’s educational experiences with classes that focus on foundational competencies rather than just assignments.

Courses allow students to gain deeper knowledge and skillset – qualities that employers are looking for but frequently find lacking in employees.

The online format offers students flexibility and convenience. Enrolled at least half-time, students could be eligible for federal financial aid. For more information about the Bethany Online degree programs go to
