The First Street project in McPherson is finally wrapping up.

McPherson City Public Works Director Jeff Woodward told the McPherson City Commission, "It is nearly completed. They have the wall west of Main on First Street placed. They have to strip the forms and do some clean up work there. The wall west of Maple should be placed today or tomorrow. The footing for the pedestrian guardrail at the high school should be placed today, and the pedestrian guardrail should be delivered tomorrow and installed this week. Permanent seeding is scheduled to start today. That just leaves minor clean up items. It should be completed this week."

Inspection of the work is scheduled for this week, as well.
