McPherson High climbed one spot Tuesday in the Kansas Volleyball Association state rankings.

The Bullpups moved up to No. 4, as they now trail only undefeated Hayden, Andover Central and defending state champion Bishop Miege.

Louisburg is right behind the Bullpups at No. 5. The bottom five includes Basehor-Linwood, DeSoto, Abilene, Wamego and Chanute.

Rose Hill, which has now lost twice to MHS, dropped from No. 4 to completely out of the rankings.

Hesston dropped a spot to No. 3 in Class 3A. It now trails Silver Lake and Garden Plain.
