OMAHA, Neb. — College of St. Mary cruised to a 5-0 decision over Central Christian College’s women’s soccer team in an MCAC clash on Saturday.
The depth-shy Lady Tigers were game for a half, trailing only 1-0, but their lack of reserves drained their energy as the Flames scored four more times.
CCC’s Twila Smedley was a battler in goal with 17 saves, as College of St. Mary owned the ball throughout the game.
The Lady Tigers, now 1-8-1, play Thursday at Manhattan Christian.
