Another dominating game for MHS grad Steenson

FORT DODGE, Iowa — McPherson High graduate Travis Steenson had another incredible game for Butler County Community College Saturday in the Grizzlies’ 41-24 victory over Iowa Central.

Steenson, who has earned Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week honors already this season, continued his relentless play. He came up with nine tackles, three of them solos, and also had a tackle for a loss and a pass breakup.

For the season, the 6-3 and 200-pound Steenson leads the Grizzlies with 82 tackles in six games, 21 of them being solos. He has a couple of sacks and 12 tackles totaling 45 yards in losses.
