LINDSBORG — Smoky Valley’s volleyball team bounced back from a first-match disappointment to earn a split of a triangular on Thursday.
The Vikings dropped a three-setter to Central Plains (25-15, 17-25, 22-25), but dominated Ellsworth in the second match (25-17, 25-16).
"I was really proud of how the girls bounced back the second game after losing the first,” Viking coach Allison O’Neil said. “They really came together as a team and supported one another. We were able to execute our game plan and take care of business."
The Vikings are home again Tuesday for a triangular.
