The McPherson Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) will hold a free fall foliage tour aboard the trolley on Sat. Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. beginning from the McPherson Water Park south parking lot.

The tour will be hosted by interim City Forester Kody Kraemer and highlight the many types of trees in McPherson's beautiful parks including Lakeside Park, Linnea Park and Memorial Park. The tour will last 45 minutes and is on a first-come-first-served basis.

"We've been wanting to hold a fall tour highlighting the beautiful trees as they change color for a few years now. It's hard to plan too much in advance given the whim of Mother Nature, so we will begin with a free public tour this year," Anne Hassler, CVB director, said.
