Central Christian College’s men’s soccer team held off nationally ranked Bellevue for a half here Wednesday before the Bruins generated three second-half goals for a 3-0 victory.

Rob Smith, Lee Woolmore and Manuel Lira connected for No. 21-ranked Bellevue, which had a 21-5 advantage in shots. Luis Soto made five saves for the Tigers.

Central is now 6-4-1 on the year and 0-1-1 in the MCAC. It makes the long trip to Iowa Saturday to take on Waldorf College.
